The day started slow, but ended so fun......
Today was my day off (from cleaning other people's houses that is). I still have to clean my own as well as keep up with my kids', my own household chores and errands to run. My husband who I am convinced was sent to me from GOD above let me sleep in (this is normal). I then had a lazy morning of drinking a whole pot of coffee, letting my kids' make a mess with pay-doh (that is NOT normal) and dinking around the house shredded papers and going through my desk trying to make sense of it all. I had every good intention of taking my babies to the splash pad in Grand Blanc and to enjoy this hot summer day, but all of a sudden I got tired. Tired from what I'm not sure. Maybe just life. Maybe the hustle and bustle of all of the things that need to be done or that I just plain WANT done. Then my good friend Carmen called and we had a nice chat, it seems like we don't do that as much as we used to. Then my awesome neighbor Kristi called and we cruised down around the corner and ended up staying for pizza and yummy brownies. Our kids' play really good together (except when Sulls calls everyone dork repeatedly ugh!). It was a blast. I have to say that her and her family is an answer to a prayer that I sent out a year ago; to find a great friend with the same age kids' as my own to really connect with. I feel very grateful that I know them. Kristi is super funny and friendly and a very beautiful person inside and out. She makes me laugh always, but has a big ear to listen to me whine and cry too. Brooklyn (her oldest) and Grace are the best of buddies. They are going to have a great time this year in kindergarten and riding the bus together. I can't wait for the day when kennedy (her youngest) and sulls are off and we can sit and have tea/ coffee and chat uninterrupted. My husband just called and is working 12 hours which is another answer to prayer! So I am having a beer and am getting ready to sit with my book and enjoy my quiet house. What a relaxing day! It started out slow, but turned out great.

This is awesome! We are so grateful you included us. What gorgeous children! (I especially love those curls!) We saved this to our favorites so we can stay up to date on all the Cox family events.
